SILAB 2025 -Important Update
SILAB Edmonton/Calgary Postponed to Fall 2025

Dear partners, authors, volunteers, and community members,

We would like to inform our beloved community that, due to circumstances beyond our control, the 2025 editions of the Alberta Intercultural Book Fair (SILAB), originally scheduled for Edmonton and Calgary, have been postponed to fall 2025.

We are working closely with the ACFA Régionale de Calgary to reschedule the event as soon as possible.

We sincerely thank the authors, volunteers, partners, and members of the public for their ongoing support and understanding. We continue to work diligently on coordination and planning, and we will keep you informed as soon as the new dates are confirmed.

Thank you for continuing to support KAYANOU’s mission to celebrate literature, diversity, and Black Francophone voices in Alberta.
